Botox Treatment
Avane Dermatology Clinic offers Botox Cosmetic treatment in Nairobi Kenya, an FDA-approved treatment to smooth facial wrinkles and the frown lines between your eyebrows. Botox procedures also treat conditions such as neck spasms (cervical dystonia), excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), an overactive bladder, and lazy eye. Botox injections may also help prevent chronic migraines. We have listed alternative uses for Botox below.
The procedure is painless and quick on average 10 minutes. It is often referred to as “the lunch break procedure”.
After the Botox injections, results may be visible within 24 to 48 hours after the procedure; lasting up to 4 months for the face and anywhere from 6-12 months for the underarms. In addition, your physician will be able to answer any questions to the best of their ability in regards to the timeline of your procedure. End results vary from patient to patient. In addition, you can return to your activities for the day after the procedure. You may see reduced visibility to the treatment area, like reduced crow’s feet, forehead creases, frown lines, etc.
Turkey Chin
As our face ages wrinkling, dimpling, and sagging can happen to your chin. Applying Botox and fillers to the chin area will tighten and fill the sagging skin. This procedure is known as the Nefertiti Neck Lift. It is very effective in tightening the skin and is a non surgical facelift.
Manage Acne
Small amounts of Botox injected into the skin help curb the production of oil on your skin, reducing breakouts, these small injections are superficially allowing you to have facial expressions. Although other treatments such as Spironolactone or birth control pills should be used first.
Face Lift
You can use botox to shape your jaw, lift the tip of your nose, and relax wrinkles around your eyes and forehead every three months.
Nose Job
As you age your nose can begin to sag and become more hooked. Affects the whole look of your face. Botox can lift the nose making giving you a younger appearance. Botox is injected between the nostrils, releasing the depressor muscle pulling which pulls the nose downwards. This procedure will make your face appear more lifted.
Softening Jawline & Chin
Grinding your teeth will lead to a wider jaw over time. Injecting botox in your are jawline will shrink and narrow the jawline. The results last on average for one year, this procedure has a knock-on effect such as making your cheeks look more lifted and relieving pain from grinding your teeth.
Tight Jowls
If you want a more defined jaw line, botox along the muscles of the jawbone can pull the skin up for a crisp and defined effect.
Lifting your lips
Small injections are inserted into the upper lip border which rolls the top lip up and out and makes your lips appear plumper. It is more subtle than collagen injections.
Smooth Neck
An injection of Botox into the neck paralyzes the neck muscles which reduces wrinkles and fine lines. The horizontal lines that form around your neck are the targets of Botox injecting small amounts below and above the lines gives the skin a smoother more consistent look.
The main reasons to have botox on your neck are to reduce fine lines, sagging jowls, and reduces wrinkles. Repeat visits are needed every three to four months as Botox breaks down.
