Do you wish you could erase years away from your face in the matter of minutes? Do you want the best lips in all of Nairobi or maybe even Africa? Well with Juvederm, you can! Juvederm, made from hyaluronic acid, is a dermal filler used to add volume to the area of interest, such as smile lines or lips.
Which Type of Juvederm is Best for Me?
There are four types of Juvederm. There is Juvederm XC , Juvederm Ultra XC, Juvederm Volbella XC, and Juvederm Voluma XC. The type that you use would depend on the area of concern.
Laughter is known as the best medicine, but what effect does it have upon your body? Excessive laughter and smiling creates nasolabial folds, otherwise known as laugh lines. Laughing makes you feel great, but over time, you may begin to feel uncomfortable with the newly developed creases. With Juvederm XC, volume is added to minimize or erase the lines. The naturally-looking and noninvasive procedure may even last up to a year!
Juvederm Ultra XC
Did your lips lose the volume that they once had? Have you always had thin lips? Many people desire for full lips, like those of Angelina Jolie, but people forget that lips like those can be yours! With Juvederm Ultra XC, volume is added to yours lips to create a fuller appearance.
Juvederm Volbella XC
Do you ever try to apply the perfect coat of lip gloss or lipstick but simply can’t? Are the creases in your lips so bothersome that you can’t take it? Then you should consider getting Juvederm Volbella XC! With Volbella, the lines are minimized and a subtle amount of volume is added. After all, the perfect lips you crave are accessible in the simplest means, so why not give it a shot?
Juvederm Voluma XC
As we age through life, our bodies begin to showcase our age through our experiences and gravity. The skin is no longer as tight and full, but Juvederm Voluma XC may turn back the clock a few years for you. Primarily meant to be used in the cheek area, it restores the volume and fullness you once had, making you look up to 5 years younger, for up to 2 years!
How is the Procedure Performed?
There are different ways the procedure is done depending upon the area of concern. You would discuss what can be done to solve the insecurity with Dr. Pancholi. He might start by applying a topical cream to the area of concern to avoid any discomfort. Then the injections will be done. If the area of concern is the lips, they will be done from the outermost part of the lips to the inside. If smile lines are a concern, the injections will be placed in the crease to add volume, allowing them to blend in to the rest of the skin on your face. If the cheeks are a concern, three circles will be drawn on each cheek, and an injection will be done in each one.
What Should I Discuss with my Doctor?
You should inform your doctor if you are taking any medicine that can prolong bleeding, taking medicine or going through therapy that may weaken immune system, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
